Last entry was far too long ago and I felt I needed to update. I've been gone so long most of my da friends here have disappeared.... I'll have to make some new ones!!

Feels Good

It really feels good to be creating fractals and submitting art again. It especially feels good to be here at da again on a daily basis. Mostly I'm just lurking but occasionally I'll throw in a comment or two. I've got my laptop back now so I'm even more excited to be creating stuff although I haven't installed ultra fractal yet - but it's coming. I'm continually inspired by all the great artwork on my watch list as well as the interesting nuggets I catch on the front page every so often. I'd also like to thank everyone who submits a tutorial or parameters here - they have been an immense help to get me back into fractals again.

A Fractal Submission

Wow, I can't believe it's been such a long time since my last submission. I have really been missing out!
I've been looking through all of my friends galleries and have caught the fractal bug again. Everyone has been posting such beautiful images. Way to go guys!!
I've seen some really beautiful apophysis images but to tell the truth that program intimidates me a little. Each time I use it I feel like I have to learn the whole thing over again. I see some new tutorials posted that I can't wait to try out so hopefully I can get back into that program too. Oh, and what's this mandlebub program??? Who can tell me about that - it looks really cool!
I also have some photos to upload in the near future too. Unfortunately I did lose a whack of photos when my laptop crashed - wasn't expecting that as it's only a few months old but they say hindsight is 20/20, so I've been backing up all my files religiously since then. It's been over two weeks and I still don't have my laptop back yet, gah. I'm lost without it. Thank goodness for the good old desktop computer.
