Well, are you ready for a crapload of photos? Be warned I'm uploading a big bunch today - been saving 'em up for a while and today I finally have some time to sit down and pick out my faves.

Photos include a few butterfly shots from my last visit to the conservatory, shots from my recent trip to the forest trails, and various shots in and around my home garden. Apparently I have a "thing" for hosta leaves - I can't resist the shapes and textures!!

Photography is my "take a break" activity. Working from home I find that I almost spend more time working than I would if I were at an office - that being said I try to take some time for myself every few hours. So I've been grabbing my camera (and learning some things about it along the way) and walking around my yard. Taking photos relaxes me and sometimes I lose all track of time I get so engrossed in getting that "perfect shot". At the butterfly conservatory I can lose myself for hours.
